Great Cartoonists
One of my aspirations is to someday be published in The New Yorker magazine - no easy feat based on the incredible people featured there now. And the competition is fierce - they receive thousands of submissions a month, so your work has to be world class. Among my favorites at the New Yorker is cartoonist Matt Diffee - his work is unique, exceptionally well drawn, and exceptionally funny. While looking to find more of his work, I stumbled across this video on Youtube, where he describes his approach to writing his cartoons - a must-see for the aspiring professional scribbler:
